As we began walking our legs off around the large zoo, I was battling a cold/sinus infection that had my whole body aching and my head pounding. The weather was overcast which was perfect for a hot and flat day in the Piedmont part of North Carolina. I remembered the time Cole and I took a long weekend and went down to the same zoo and spent a little time in the neighboring town of Seabrook because of her love for handmade pottery.
her in my nieces were loving it of course But every time we got to a new place where they could spend some time looking and there was a park bench I had to sit down. As I grabbed a snack here and there and continue to take my medicine a lot of memories came back to me and when we got to the bee 🐝 station and began taking pictures It was a déjà vu moment because I had taken her mother’s picture in the same spots a few years before (I say a few but it was actually many because I was looking at trying to post them here but they are located pre Google photos on my old MacBook laptop which we all know was a different format so I need to work on giving them brought over). Again I think it’s just seems to be a reoccurring theme with all of my thoughts and postings that life is short and we have to enjoy the memories and moments when we get them because they will pass and become history eventually.
